1. What data does Simply Chart provide? top

End-of-day data for UK Stocks and Indices.

2. What bonus features do I get? top

3. When is the latest Simply Chart data made available? top

Daily end-of-day data updates are made available at 6:30pm Monday to Friday.

4. Who provides the data in Simply Chart? top

The London Stock Exchange, FTSE and Comstock.

5. How can I update my data? top

You will need an active Internet connection, then just click 'Update Data', and Simply Chart will do the rest.
Please Note that only paying subscibers to Simply Chart have access to the update service.

6. Will I miss any data if I don't update for a few days? top

No. The next time you update, it will retrieve all the missing data.

7. How do I update the software? top

If there is a new version of the software available, it will be automatically offered to you when you update your data.

8. I am an existing subscriber, and need to download the software again. Where can I get it? top

Just go to the 'Download / Free Demo' section of this site and enter your details.

9. Do you give investment advice? top

No. Simply Chart is purely an information service.

10. Are there any hidden costs? top

No. Simply Chart costs just 10 per month with a monthly subscription, or 110 per year with an annual subscription. All prices even include VAT.

11. How can I pay? top

By credit or debit card, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch or Maestro

12. How do I cancel my subscription? top

To cancel, simply email support@simplychart.com. Please note that we need 30 days notice of any cancellation.

13. Can I share my password with a friend or colleague? top

No. Each Simply Chart subscription is for use by a single person only. If we detect that your password has been shared, your account will be automatically blocked, and you will need to contact us to unblock it.

14. What are the system requirements? top

15. Can I make Simply Chart work on Windows Vista / Windows 7? top

Yes, but the installation process is slightly different. Follow these instructions.

  • If you have already installed SimplyChart to it's default location, uninstall it using the uninstall shortcut in the Start Menu, or by using Add/Remove Programs under the Windows Control Panel
  • Run the SimplyChart installation package
  • When prompted to chose the installation location, change it from the default of Program Files to your user's home directory (typically select C:\Users\[YourName])
  • For Vista users only: Download and install Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 from the Microsoft website. This is essential because .NET v3 that is distributed with Windows Vista is not backwards compatible with v1.1.
  • Use Simply Chart

Yes. In Simply Chart open the "Help" menu and select the "Help Topics" option for a full guide and explanation of all the anyalytics, Indicators and Scan tools available.
